Before writing, I taught grade school on
the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona.
Later on I went to film school and became an animator and storyboard artist.

I loved it all, but I knew that telling stories
was the best part. So that’s what I do now,
from my family’s home in Eagle, Idaho.
